Cremello= 2 copies of the cream gene, which means MUST pass on one. This means that the foal will have a cream gene. Also, cremello’s are a base color of chestnut.
Belgian horses are typically sorrel in base coat with a mealy gene, which lightens body and main/tail color. Palomino does not exist in belgian horses. So, I’m guessing that she is sorrel/chestnut.
The baby will be sorrel/chestnut base, as both parents are. It will also have one cream gene making it a palomino. It may also have the mealy gene(like mom). This would possibly further the lightening of the main, or not.
You will have a palomino.
I bred a 1/2 Clydesdale mare to a fox trotter, that was a great cross. However, I caution breeding unregisterable foals with the horse market being so bad.
