halter and lead training a goat.?
Now, I know this isn’t a goat section, but it’s close to what I need.
I bought two boer goats, a nanny and billy. Well the nanny had twins a few days ago, a boy&girl. The parents are halter and lead trained, they came that way. I’ve got horses and trained them to halter and lead before but I was just wondering if it would be any different.
I have miniature foal halters and they look like they would fit.
my neighbors used to have 2 pigmy goats (soooo cute
). anyways, they had only had a halter on a few times before, but when we tried to lead them around with a halter they behaved just fine.
so ya, if you’ve halter trained horses then goats shouldn’t be that different. they probably will actually be easier…
